Data boundaries

This draft technical summary describes documented monitoring-data boundaries. It is not a legal privacy policy and requires legal review before publication as one.

Telemetry and secrets

Collector telemetry contains documented device, interface, health, and heartbeat data. It must not contain SNMP communities, TLS material, environment values, process arguments, filesystem paths, raw memory, or local operator controls.

Storage and access

PostgreSQL is the cloud monitoring system of record. The dashboard reads its monitoring state only through the Backend API; local collector state and controls remain in the customer plane.
